Crna Luknja: The earthquake in Turkey and surrounding regions
After answering the call for Anti-lukovmarsh – antifascist mobilization in Sofia on 25th of February, a delegation of anti-authoritarian movement from Ljubljana, also with a member of Crna Luknja – radio show on Radio Študent, continue its journey to Istanbul. Being there in the beginning of March it was three weeks after the earthquake disaster. We manage to make interview with comrade concerning earthquake situation. For security reasons of a comrade we put filter over the voice.

Crna Luknja: Balkan Anarchist Bookfair 2023
Crna luknja is sharing a call for the upcoming Balkan Anarchist Bookfair (BAB23) that will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia between 7th-9th July 2023. The aim of BAB23 is to bring together in a big transnational political gathering people and initiatives involved in the anarchist movement from the Balkans, Europe and hopefully other continents as well. The gathering is to take place 20 years after the first Balkan Anarchist Bookfair that was held in 2003, also in Ljubljana. Listen to the history, political meaning and agenda of the bookfair and join the process! The event will take place under the slogan ‘Over the walls of nationalism and war’.

The Final Straw Radio: Trial of mutual aid activists and journalists in Asheville, NC
TFSR spoke with a defendant & supporter in the trial of mutual aid activists and journalists facing Felony Littering and conspiracy charges for protests against homeless camp evictions in freezing temperatures in December of 2021 in Asheville, NC, USA. Trial begins April 10th, 2023, nearly 1.5 years after the arrests. To hear more about the case, check out our full episode at our website. Geplanter Ausbau der A66 bei Frankfurt: Interview zur Besetzung im Fechenheimer Wald

Nicht nur für Braunkohle werden Dörfer und Wälder zerstört, sondern auch für Autobahnen. Am Frankfurter Fechenheimer Wald soll die A66 weiter ausgebaut werden. Wir haben mit Aktivisti über die Situation vor Ort gesprochen, denn die Räumung der seit September 2021 laufenden Besetzung steht vor der Tür.

Gesammelte Infos zu Lützerath: Interview-Kooperation mit Radio Blau und Radio Corax

Das seit zwei Jahren besetzte Dorf Lützerath am Tagebau Garzweiler zwei soll für die Profitinteressen von RWE geräumt und zerstört werden. Zusammen mit Radio Blau aus Leipzig und Radio Corax aus Halle haben wir noch vor Beginn der Räumungsversuche durch die Polizei nachgefragt, wie die Situation gerade ist und was die Aktivist*innen in denn nächsten Tagen und Wochen erwarten.

A village to be evicted for coal – the defense of Luetzerath in Germany

In this interview with an activist of Radio Aalpunk from Luetzerath from January 7, 2023, we share background on the lignite mining of the RWE company and the importance of this village, information about self-organization and alternative living forms in Luetzerath in the last two years, an overview of the last days, preparation and tactics now. Also, we talk about Radio Aalpunk, which is broadcasting from Luetzerath, and its role during the eviction. Finally the comrade offers lots of ideas on how to support the struggle inside and outside of the village. Solidarity!

Fundraising tour of ABC Belarus 2022, the war in Ukraine and lessons from the Belarus uprising

Anarchist Black Cross Belarus recently finished an infotour in Germany, France and Switzerland, partly organized by the Federation of German-speaking Anarchists (FdA-IFA). We were able to talk to a comrade after their presentation in Berlin on 6 October 2022. The first half is about the dire political situation in Belarus at the moment, two years after the uprising as well as in the context of the war in Ukraine. In the second half we summarized together lessons from the presentation for antiauthoritarian and anarchist movements in future uprisings.

Resist.berlin über sichere Kommunikation und Aktivismus über das Internet

Wie im letzten Libertären Podcast angekündigt, hier nun die Komplettversion unseres Interviews mit einer Person von resist.berlin, einer Gruppe, die sich seit 2018 mit Technologie und deren Nutzung in der linksradikalen Szene Berlins beschäftigt. In dem Gesprächs versucht eine Person von Resist, uns aufzuzeigen, wo und wie wir am besten endlich anfangen können uns ein wenig intensiver mit den technischen Geräten auseinanderzusetzen, die wir im Alltag benutzen. Neben praktischen Aspekten der sicheren Kommunikation sprechen wir auch ein paar aktuelle politischen Themen an und versuchen zu verstehen, was für Möglichkeiten des Aktivismus sich aktuell im Internet bieten.

[Extra] TFSR im Gespräch mit Maxida Märak und Gabriel Kuhn über das Buch “Liberating Sápmi”

Hiermit veröffentlichen wir die deutschsprachige Version eines Interviews, das The Final Straw Radio (TFSR) mit Maxida Märak, einer Sami-Aktivistin und Hip-Hop-Sängerin, sowie Gabriel Kuhn, anarchistischer Aktivist, Übersetzer und Autor, über Kuhns Buch “Liberating Sápmi: Indigenous Resistance in Europe’s Far North” (auf Deutsch: Die Befreiung Sapmis: Indigener Widerstand im hohen Norden Europas“ geführt hat. Das englischsprachige Originalinterview wurde im Juni 2020 ausgestrahlt. Unsere Wiederveröffentlichung findet ihr hier.

Ein besonderer Dank gebührt Gabriel Kuhn, der das Interview für uns übersetzt und seine eigenen Parts nochmals auf Deutsch eingesprochen hat.

[Extra] TFSR talking to Maxida Märak and Gabriel Kuhn about the book “Liberating Sápmi”

We are now republishing an interview by The Final Straw Radio (TFSR) with Maxida Märak, a Sami activist and hip hop singer, and Gabriel Kuhn, an anarchist activist, translator and author, about Kuhn’s book “Liberating Sápmi: Indigenous Resistance in Europe’s Far North“. The book contains a political history of the Sámi people, whose traditional lands extend along the north most regions of so-called Sweden, Norway, Finland, and parts of Russia, as well as interviews conduced with over a dozen Sámi artists and activists. This interview was published originally in June 2020.

Alles zur neuen Website

Willkommen! Schön, dass ihr es hierher geschafft habt.
Nach monatelanger Vorbereitung ist unsere neue Website zwar noch immer nicht vollständig, aber doch größtenteils fertig 😉

Nachdem uns blogsport freundlicherweise mehr als 10 Jahre lang gehostet hatte, war es spätestens mit dem Wegfall dieses Providers nun endlich an der Zeit, uns an einer eigenständigen Infrastruktur zu probieren. Die Umstellung hat uns gleich mehrere neue Features ermöglicht, die ihr bestimmt bald zu schätzen wissen werdet:

– Die Website gibt es jetzt in drei Sprachen (Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch), jeweils an die Bedürfnisse der Sprache angepasst (da wir unterschiedliche Arten von Audios in diesen drei Sprachen veröffentlichen).

– Im deutschsprachigen Bereich gibt unter den Slidern (die auf wichtige Infos hinweisen) stets den aktuellsten Monatsrückblick (Libertärer Podcast) sowie das neueste Extra-Audio. In beiden Fällen mit einem Player, der Zusatzinformationen bereitstellt und unter anderem die Möglichkeit bietet, kapitelweise durch das Audio zu springen (wenn das entsprechend eingestellt ist). Und direkt darunter die Möglichkeit, die Audios auf vielfältigste Weise zu abonnieren.

– Unter den aktuellsten Beiträgen findet ihr links einen Bereich mit unseren aktuellsten “Toots” aus Mastodon sowie rechts kurze Kontaktdaten und ein Schlagwort-Bereich, wo ihr passende Audios finden könnt.

– Im Audio-Bereich gibt es alle Audios, die wir je veröffentlicht haben (manche Links sind womöglich nicht mehr aktuell und manchmal werdet ihr das Audio noch direkt von archive.org herunterladen müssen, aber ihr könnt über diesen Bereich (sowie über die Archivseiten rechts unten) auf alle Audios zugreifen.

– Unter Kontakt/Über uns findet ihr alle Infos zum Projekt, unseren Vernetzungen und einen Mitmach-Aufruf! Nicht zuletzt findet sich dort auch unser PGP-Key, falls ihr uns nicht über Social Media kontaktieren wollt, sondern es etwas sicherer wünscht.

Brazil 2020 (1): Em fevereiro tem carnaval – A conversation about Brazil and exile (Part 2)

In this Podcast we dive deep into the whole complex of the contemporary history and current situation in Brasil. We publish a long conversation with two Brazilian immigrants recorded in Lisbon in Dezember 2019.

N. is a 19 year old transsexual, who left Brazil as fast as possible because of violence and discrimination against trans people. After getting himself sorted in his new surrounding he connected fast to the queer and anarchist movement.

V. is a long time militant and organized anarchist. His dream is to work as a teacher, but this perspective is blocked for him in Brazil, because of his political past, activities and ideas. Furthermore he is facing possible high charges for his involvement in the 2013 uprisings.

The podcast is split into two parts.
