As the Anarchist Radio Berlin, we gladly present this interview with an anarchist in Belarus on the current situaton in the country. Since weeks people are in the streets in the aftermath of the last election.

In the interview, recorded on the 31st of august 2020, we learn about underlying reasons and the built up to the current protest movement, as well as the role of alternative media and the current state repression.

Slovenia: Tactics and challenges in the ongoing social uprising

As A-Radio Berlin we had the opportunity of talking to a comrade from the Federation for Anarchist Organizing (FAO) in Slovenia and Croatia.

Amongst the topics were the ongoing social uprising in Slovenia, the dynamics and challenges of such a movement in the Covid-19 context, state repression and neonazi attacks as well as a comparison to the 2012/2013 uprising. Last but not least our comrade offers an analysis of the tactics used in the struggle and how to possibly go forward.

Kolektiva.media – a new anarchist videohosting alternative

We had the opportunity of talking with comrades from the anarchist video colletives SubMedia and Antimidia directly for the start of their new videohosting project Kolektiva. Hear more about this exciting new self-managed infrastructure as well as background infos on videomaking in Canada and Brazil and suggestions on creating new video collectives.

[Extra] Anarchistische Perspektiven auf den Iran und Afghanistan

Wir veröffentlichen hiermit die deutsche Fassung eines Interviews, das The Final Straw Radio aus North Carolina mit einem Übersetzer der Anarchistischen Union von Afghanistan und Iran führte. Darin geht es um die Arbeit der Organisation, dem Widerstand gegen das Regime im Iran und der Verbreitung des Anarchismus in der Region, internationale Solidarität sowie die Auswirkungen des US-amerikanischen Säbelrasselns unter Donald Trump. Das Interview wurde im Januar 2020 aufgenommen.

[Extra] Channel Zero Network: Staying safe at street actions (PSA)

As A-Radio Berlin we are part of the anarchist Channel Zero Network (CZN), an alliance of podcasts and radio shows in English language from around the world.

In the context of the recent BlackLivesMatter uprising against police brutality and racism in the US, CZN published a short audio containing advice on how to more safely navigate street actions. Most things would also apply outside of the BLM or Covid-19 situation.
